More than 23 million Indonesians live with disability. A majority of them are female, older, and live in urban areas. For people with disabilities in Indonesia, there’s a pressing need for wider access to and more affordable assistive technology. This Backgrounder provides an early snapshot of an upcoming study on the assistive technology industry.
